Revolutionär; hatten sich die Ohren doch gerade erst an den kompromisslosen Detroit-Techno gewöhnt, den die Drei ja selbst geschaffen hatten. Auf dem Weg zum Saturn überholten sie sich selbst und waren der Zeit, wenn nicht Zentradekaden, so doch um mindestens 15 Jahre voraus. Nun haben sie wieder zusammengefunden und starten 2008 gemeinsam ihre zweite Saturn-Mission. Allein deshalb ist "X-102 rediscovers The Rings Of Saturn" ein Meilenstein. Nothing better than a sweaty night of wicked house music. And tonight the Bonito vibe is spezial so you can give it up first for the venerable Elbee Bad, more than famous for injecting Berlin with the finest in hot, bad house since the genre first erupted in the capital. Plus: anybody who remembers the ultra nights at 90°, E-Werk, Suicide Club or his work with Mike Vamp as the Märtini Brös, will stand up and shout for Clé in an exclusive return to one of his first club residencies in Berlin. This was revolutionary: listeners had just become accustomed to the uncompromising Detroit techno sound that the three of them had produced so far. Thus on the way to Saturn they surpassed even themselves, if not a decade jump then at least 15 years ahead of their time. But finally they've again joined forces to activate together their second Saturn mission. Indeed this alone makes "X-102 rediscovers The Rings Of Saturn" a milestone. But the innovators wouldn't be such if they didn't rediscover the tracks from the first mission (which therefore again indirectly involves Robert Hood) and on that base produce new, unreleased tracks reflecting their personal development and the knowledge gained through modern space research. 20 tracks of pure techno magic, a return to the interstellar probing that brings some of the original abstraction to skillful levels of contemporary electronic music. This is not old-meets-new: this is innovation restructured with masterly polishing - timeless. The MP3 version contains most of the CD tracks plus 5 previously unreleased tracks which are included exclusively for the MP3 release of the album: this makes this version very unique and therefore an instant collector's item.
